A Few Neutrogena Products

Neutrogena Products

Neutrogena is one of my go to brands. Basically it means that if I need a beauty product quickly(and for cheap) I tend to look for Neutrogena in the local drug store. Now I always knew that Neutrogena has a lot of products under its brand, but when I went on its website the choices were endless. Below are just a few Neutrogena products that I have encountered recently.

1.Neutrogena’s Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen

This is by far my favorite sunscreen of any brand. While personally my skin is usually on the dry side, if I try to use an oily suntan lotion during the summer, I usually get greasy skin and lots of breakouts. Especially, when I go to the beach, the pool, or doing any physical activity outside in the sun, I have to be really careful with what I put on my skin. Although this has the word “Dry” in the name, I do not think the Sunscreen dries out my skin, it just is not oily like other sunscreen/suntan lotion. This gives great protection, and does not irritate my skin.

The sunscreen comes in three different types, cream, spray, and roll on. All three types still go on dry.

2.Neutrogena Beach Defense Sunscreen

Especially in comparison to the Ultra Sheer Dry Touch sunscreen, the Beach Defense line of sunscreen is way too oily for my skin. The label claims that you can use this sunscreen for the beach, however the combination of water, sand, and greasy sunscreen does not suit my skin. So, instead I use this on basically my arms and legs, anywhere that is not sensitive.

3.Oil-Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub

Currently my favorite face wash is from Neutrogena, I always need something with a little exfoliation, but I have tried some brands that are way too aggressive on my skin. This face wash is perfect because it does not dry out my skin, but it still has a gentle scrub to help clean my face at the end of the day.  My favorite part is that it truly improves my skin and leaves it feeling soft after I use it. Also, it comes in a smaller size, but a little goes a long way with this one so I seem to use one bottle for a long time.

4.Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub

While I usually try really hard to use any beauty products that I buy, even if they are not my favorites, I really disliked this face scrub and I ended up throwing it away. At least in my experience, this scrub left my skin feeling dry and waxy(instead of smooth) which I really did not like. The face wash has a strong orange smell, which was not at all appealing to my sensitive nose. Also, it did not appear to improve my skin at all so I just gave up on using it.

5.Neutrogena Naturals Cleansing Wipes

I recently discovered that Neutrogena has a “Natural” brand. While I am no expert on what makes beauty products natural, I do really like these wipes. I do not use face wipes everyday as I think it gets too expensive and face wash is more effective, however I like that these leave my skin soft, remove makeup, and are not too harsh.

6.Oil Free Acne Stress Control Night Pads

On the other hand, these pads are a lot more aggressive on the skin. I do not use these wipes regularly, but I will bring them when I travel, exercise, or spend a lot of time outdoors. They work great to clean your skin quickly, but might be too much for sensitive skin.

7.Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick

I like this smooth stick because it is basically a combination of lipstick and lip balm, so it adds color to your lips and leaves them feeling smooth.
