Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush and Tartiest Lip Paint

TarteProducts_6115

I first used the Tarte brand when I received this blush and lip paint as a Sephora holiday gift (which worked successfully to get me interested in the brand, dang you Sephora!). I am really picky about how makeup feels on my skin and I love how easily the blush goes on my cheeks. The color payoff was really good, but you do not have to put a heavy layer on so it feels lightweight. This lip paint has a matte finish and I think it is great for a subtle lip. It also goes on so smooth, just like the blush, and is long lasting.

Tarte’s “Pack Your Bags” Undereye Patches

I think these would make a great gift just because the packaging is adorable! Plus in this set you get 4 pairs of undereye patches. These are the biggest and thickest patches I have ever used for undereyes, as they end up taking over your cheekbones as well. They also tend to slide down so you have to keep pushing them back up. However, they did reduce puffiness under my eyes after leaving them on for 15 minutes and they stay cool no matter what. So even after leaving them in a room temperature cabinet, when I put them on they felt cold which can be handy for travel.

Tarte’s Tarteguard Tinted Moisturizer

A lot of Tarte’s products are vegan including this tinted moisturizer with SPF, plus it includes non-chemical sunscreen ingredients. I like that it is a moisturizer and sunscreen so that it sets into my skin instead of sitting on top of it like some sunscreens I have tried. Also, the tinted color means there is no white residue left behind. It is not tinted enough that it will provide good coverage for blemishes, but it is definitely pigmented enough that you should make sure to match the right skin tone.

Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation

I tried out this Sephora a sample of Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation. I was impressed with the sample packaging as a lot of brands give you the tiniest sample of foundation where you can only cover a quarter of your face. At least with this sample I could try out a full face of foundation. However, I was surprised that this is their water foundation as I found that it sat on my skin especially around any dry spots.
